Tibbetts Angels need your help

The Tibbetts Angels are at it again, and once more they need your help.

In 2017, they distributed over 120 boxes to local charities filled with goodies for adults, teenagers and children. This year they want to do even better.

Can you help us fill and distribute over 150 boxes?

All you need to do is collect a number of items for those in need, and help make their Christmas that bit better.

Items can include:

  • Hats/Gloves/Scarves/warm socks
  • Coloring/Puzzle Books, pens, crayons
  • Personal care: Shower gel/bath/lotion sets. Deodorants – non-aerosol, Shaving foam sets, toothbrushes, hair brushes/combs, hair accessories
  • Festive table napkins / Christmas Crackers
  • Gifts items i.e. Jewellery, Games, Books

This list is not exhaustive but a guide

Boxes will be distributed to Banburyshire’s local charities including:

BYHP: Banbury Young Homelessness Project are dedicated to supporting Banbury’s young adults aged 13 to 25 who are at risk of homelessness, are, together with their family, disadvantaged or simply in need of help and support. Covering Banbury, Bicester, Chipping Norton and surrounding areas and villages.

Home Start: Supporting families in need, Home Start volunteers help families with young children deal with the challenges they face. Helping them cope, improve confidence and very importantly, build better lives for their children.

The Salvation Army: Pivotal in communities around the UK, the Salvation Army are wholly dedicated in supporting those who need it most, when they need it most. With compassion running through everything they do, they’re committed in transforming lives in every community.

We will be receiving all donations at Tibbetts House, Beaumont Road the week of 26th – 30th November.  However arrangements can be made for larger quantities.
