Having gained much experience of clutch systems working for 2nd tier manufacturers in Italy, Jonathan made his way to SKF in Paris where he stayed for a brief period. He joined TGL in 1996 and took over as Managing Director in 2006. In this period, Tibbetts Group continued to build and evolve into its current form. His vision is that the business will become a global player through service and quality and with the support of the management team it will achieve the targets set out in the business plan.
Steve joined the group in 2008, bringing over 25 years experience in finance and sales to the position. Steve’s role as a Group Director is to ensure smooth operation of both functions. Steve’s background was based in the banking sector for 20 years, before moving into independent commerce over 15 years ago.
Having worked in the Fastenings industry since 1984 along with being a fully qualified Aerospace Engineer, Phil has a wealth of knowledge and expertise within the industry, both from a customer service and an engineering point of view. Phil heads up both the internal and external BFC Sales teams.
James joined Tibbetts group in 2010 after achieving a 1st class honours degree in BEng Automotive Engineering from Coventry University.
As Group Engineering Manager, James manages the development and approval of all products sourced by the group. He is responsible for meeting the engineering needs of both customers and suppliers. James oversees the engineering guidance provided to the Product Management and Procurement teams.
Sue joined the company in February 2010 as a Human Resource Manager. Sue brings over 10 years experience within HR & Training to the position. Within this role Sue will be supporting the team in all areas of Employment Law, Recruitment, Training and Health & Safety.
Richard started working in the fastener industry as a warehouse operative in 1974 before moving on to sales after 6 months. He then moved to BFC in 1995 concentrating on developing sales to companies in the Aerospace, Automotive, Electronic and Medical industries.
Rob joined BFC in 1987 as an office junior before switching to work in the warehouse for a year to gain a broader knowledge of fasteners. Rob then moved into sales in 1990 where he manages customers in the Aerospace, Electronics, Automotive & Steam Trap Industries.
Crina joined BFC in 2012 as a Quality Engineer. Her role at BFC will mainly focus on inspection of incoming and outgoing products, liaison with customers and suppliers to ensure agreed quality requirements are met, manage customer complaints and non-conformities, audit of the environmental and quality standards.
Paul has been with BFC since 1997 and in that time have taken on many roles from sales support, sales and then on to Purchasing. His main role includes liaising with our suppliers to ensure that orders are placed and goods are received on schedule to help with this Paul also liaises with freight agents on our European and Far eastern imports.
Ricky joined BFC in November 2014. He assists the purchasing team with day to day buying, order progressing and general procurement projects. He has already worked within the fastener industry so has a wealth of knowledge to bring to the team.
Tyler joined Tibbetts Group in 2013 to assist in the development of the group IT system and to provide the business with on-going technical support. Tyler joined the business following completion of an apprenticeship within a local IT specialist firm.
Emma joined TGL in 2013 in the role of Quality Administrator bringing over 14 years’ experience in administration functions in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry.
In 2015 Emma moved and took over the responsibility as the Tibbetts Group Systems Supervisor which encompasses all I.T and systems management, the role manages all I.T requirements and Quality Systems.
